Mabus Farm and General Contracting (MFGC) was formed out of the desire to build a team that understands the complexity of building a Custom Home on acreage. We are dedicated and experienced in establishing efficient Hobby Farms and we understand the development of a safe and functional equestrian facility. We feel that the preservation of local habitats and open spaces in our area is a big part of our mission. Our Team can help make a difference through careful practices and a vigilant focus on hobby farms, equestrian facilities, and even larger working farms as a big part of the solution.
We have established a team of Veterans, Veteran Spouses, Equestrians, and Hobby Farmers who are grounded in Four Core Tenants. Our tenants allow us to operationalize consistency in Customer Service, the significance of Quality (both in materials and competent subcontractors), character to define and achieve creative Aesthetics in your project, and the reality of the value of Resale in your investment.
We understand the dream of owning land, a farm, or a Forever Home and how to bring that dream to life whether that is being able to:

Our Team also has connections with multiple lenders who have a firm understanding of lending options to meet your individual needs whether it is through a conventional, VA, or Farm loan. We work hand in hand with local real estate agents that can assist in your search for land, based on your specific needs and budget. We have created a network of local vendors and subcontractors that possess the same core values we expect, who are rooted in the community, and who will work hard with our Team to assist in achieving each goal.
We fully appreciate that accomplishing everything above is a huge investment and requires an extraordinary amount of communication and attention to detail, as compared to purchasing a pre-built home.
