Jon Woosley

Project Manager

Jon is originally from Long Beach, California, Jon spent his youth playing sports, riding horses, and learning how to work on cars. After graduating high school, he entered the Army in 1996.

 

Jon retired from the Army after 25 years of service. The latter half of his career was within the Joint Special Operations Command and culminated as a Squadron Sergeant Major within the Joint Communication Unit.

 

Upon retiring from the Army, Jon and Dannielle felt led by God to plant roots here in North Carolina. They purchased 25 acres of land in West End, NC, and hired Mabus Farm and General Contracting (MFGC) to build their forever home. With Seth and Jon having a previous relationship they knew they wanted MFGC to build for them and 10 months into our build, Seth offered Jon an opportunity to join the MFGC team.

 

Jon has a year of experience as a construction Project Manager. His more than 2 decades of leadership and managerial experience leading Soldiers, and managing resources, has directly translated into his current position. Within his time in the company, he has learned the processes of building and creating the relationships necessary to excel. He also utilizes his experience as a Special Operations Communicator and provides the company with IT support and client consulting on technology. He now expertly manages construction schedules and activities and provides direction and scheduling of subcontractors. He works to manage the costs of the build in order to meet the budget and predicts the resources needed to complete the project. He also obtains all necessary permits, schedules all inspections, and provides great client communication.

 

Jon and his wife, Dannielle, who also retired from Army as a competitive skydiver for the Army’s Golden Knights have four children aged from 25 years old to 3 years old. The oldest, Cameron currently resides in San Antonio, Texas, and is a residential solar and security expert. Their 17-year-old Daughter, Alayna, was a competitive gymnast who has committed to attend NC State University. They have a 5-year-old daughter, Avery, and 3-year-old Son, Cooper whom both love living on the ranch and enjoying the outdoors with Daddy.
