Deb was born and raised in Massachusetts and was, thankfully, brought to the sandhills of North Carolina with help of the US Army following duty stations in Texas and New York. She and her husband, a retired Army Sergeant Major, spent the majority of their active duty time at Ft Bragg. They fell in love with the area, deciding to retire here and make North Carolina their forever home. 

 

Deb worked previously in the travel industry where she honed her skills in customer service, organization, and leadership. She tracked a multitude of clients and vendors; dates and payments, scheduling beautiful vacations for a week or two of family memories. She loves that those same skills are useful in construction and there is a beautiful house at the end of a project for families to make many years of memories. Deb is highly motivated and feels rewarded daily in helping others, clients, and team members alike.

 

Over the past 2 decades, Deb has maintained key leadership positions in several 501c organizations where she developed a passion for accounting and efficient office management. These combined experiences enabled her to establish herself in a critical role in support of not only MFGC, Inc but more importantly our clients. 

 

Deb and her husband raised two beautiful and successful daughters who are working in the local business industry. In addition to watching their children's success, they are enjoying the journey of being grandparents. They currently own some land and have become hobby farmers with chickens, quail, and a bit of hydroponic gardening. She loves to travel, camp, bike and kayak and is a self-described Disney-nerd. Spending time with friends and family brings her the most joy, wherever she is.
